1. The service
Safar Salah calculates prayer times, a jama' plan and the Qibla direction from astronomical formulas, an estimated great-circle flight path and the settings you choose. Real flights change route, speed and altitude, and phone compasses can be affected by metal and magnets. Treat all results as estimates.
2. Not a religious ruling
Information about jama', qasr and praying on board is general guidance based on common scholarly opinions. It is not a fatwa. Please consult a qualified local scholar for rulings that apply to you.
3. Safety on board
Always follow crew instructions and the seatbelt sign. Do not stand, move into aisles or block exits to pray when it is not safe or permitted.
4. No warranty
The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, including accuracy, availability or fitness for a particular purpose.
5. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Safar Salah and its owner are not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of the app, including missed or mistimed prayers, missed flights or reliance on the Qibla direction.
6. Ownership
Safar Salah™, its name, logo, design, text, code and generated plans are owned by Safar Salah and protected by copyright and trademark law. You may use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, modify, resell, reverse-engineer or republish the app or its code, or use the Safar Salah name or logo, without written permission.
7. Purchased plans
Personalized flight prayer plans are for the buyer's personal use and their travelling family or group. They may not be resold or redistributed.
8. Changes
We may update the app and these terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA.
